Cocoa Honors trip to Tanzania 2010
16 students from Springfield, Missouri, travel to Tanzania to build relationships with cocoa farmers and perform a service project in their village. Cocoa farmers and villagers in Tenende, Tanzania, give these students the opportunity of a lifetime to learn about business and life in the developing world.
The tri-fold brochure above explains the program and the purpose of the trip. It was created for Cocoa Honors and Askinosie Chocolate by Lenana.net.
Kellen from Lenana.net will be traveling with the group, helping them get the most out of their short time in East Africa, especially regarding translating and interacting with the school where a service project is planned. She is being sponsored by Drury University, which has a commitment to service and community. Check back in late August to see Kellen’s report from the trip.
